Cakebread Cellars Wine Dinner

Jack and Dolores Cakebread visited friends in the Napa Valley just over 40 years ago and loved it there so much that they returned soon after to buy their land and Cakebread Cellars was born.

They sold their first vintage in 1973 – all 157 cases – to one customer, but over the years the winery has grown. Cakebread Cellars has become one of the most successful and respected wineries in America, renowned for its world-class vineyards, wines, and hospitality.

Bruce Cakebread worked alongside his father, Jack, since the founding of the family winery in 1973. He officially joined the winery in 1977 and took over as winemaker in 1979, overseeing all vineyard and cellar operations for the next twenty years. In 2002, Bruce became the winery’s President and Chief Operations Officer, also leading international distribution efforts, and today he serves as co-owner and a board member.

About the Event

This exclusive event begins at 6.30pm with a glass of Cakebread Sauvignon Blanc and Canapes. This will be followed by a four-course dinner served at 7.00 pm. Each course is designed to perfectly complement the outstanding wines selected for the evening.
